A Little Help, Please

Blog friends, I come to you with a favor today. I’ve been finding a lot of time to read lately, but I keep reading books in which people either die or almost die. I knew what I was getting into with The Hunger Games, but otherwise it’s starting to get a little ridiculous. Can anyone suggest a good read that doesn’t involve death?

In advance thanks, I offer you this new Jacob photo: eating a sandwich at the table like a big boy!

I have been reading the Spellman series — books about a family of wacky private investigators. It’s pretty light but I never guess the twists at the end. The first one is called The Spellman Files and they are written by Lisa Lutz.

Also, do you have a Goodreads account? That’s been helpful for me to find new books. Also I am on there so if you decide to join, friend me! :]
