My recent writer’s block and Jacob’s new sleep schedule (up at five or six, plus a shorter midday nap) meant that I missed celebrating a fun semi-holiday: YMM’s Blogiversary!

I am delighted by how many of these posts involve Ethan: six of the ten! It is a comfort to see how many people have experienced him in this way. To me, his life is a testament to the power of love–in a not-corny way–and I am grateful to have been able to share that here.

This year has seen some big changes–a new URL, a new baby, a new loss, and a new way to grow closer to God, family, and friends.
