But How Young? Really?

Tuesday night, John and I sat down to watch the presidential debate. He was about to turn on the television, when I said the following:

 

“Wait! I need to grab the heating pad and my knitting!”

 

Seriously.

 

I then broke into laughter, realizing that I probably shouldn’t be putting those two things together for another couple of decades.

 

The justification (excuse?) is that in the moment, my back ached from what my doctor fears will be yet another giant baby, and I was almost finished with a particularly meaningful knitting project.

 

In context, it’s not so funny. But I’m still grateful that the women in my family age very well.

  1. I would have absolutely died laughing if I was sitting in the room with you when you said that! =)
